Mr. David Smith started farming in Winchendon, Ma, in 1969. He officially opened Smith’s Country Cheese in 1985 and the company has been producing high quality cheese ever since. In 2016 the business was sold to the Catlin’s, who continue providing New England with high quality dairy products.
